Socially-Distanced Activities

Jun 27. Garth Brooks. Live concert streaming at Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre in Perth. $139.

Jul 31, Aug 1, 7, 8. Bluesfest Drive-In. Adapted Bluesfest drive-in concert series featuring Sam Roberts Band, Tim Hicks, Kira Isabella and more. Zibi. $86+.

Aug 12-13. July Talk Live at a Drive-In. Toronto location and time to be released.

Campfires and Picnics at Saunders Farm. Enjoy a socially distanced campfire or picnic that includes food and drinks. Campfires available Wednesday to Sunday evenings, picnics available Saturday and Sunday lunchtime. $90.

Port Elmsley Drive-In Movie Theatre (Perth). Now open, with restrictions to stay in vehicle at all times.

Skylight Drive-In Movie Theatre (Pembroke). Now open, with restrictions to stay in vehicle at all times.

Papanack Zoo. Drive through the zoo to see the animals. Our team’s favourite is feeding carrots to the deer.

Ottawa Farmers’ Market. Open with social distancing measures in place. Must register for a specified time slot. Aberdeen Pavilion.

Carp Farmer’s Market. A special market with social distancing measures in place.

Drive-Thru Dinosaur Park (Indian River). Drive-thru with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. $22.

Sun-Filled Activities

Go for a Hike at Gatineau Park. Over 180K of trails are open but amenities remain closed.

Explore our Parks. Check out a list of all parks in Ottawa and for Gatineau. For those with kids, our team suggests the splashpads at Brewer Park.

Bike Along a Parkway. Queen Elizabeth and Gatineau Park Parkways are open daily from 8am to 8pm, the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway and Sir George-Etienne Cartier Parkway are open weekends from 8am to 4pm.

Spend the Day at the Beach. Beaches and facilities are open and feature “social distancing circles” to maintain safe distances. Our team suggests Westboro Beach at sunset.

Enjoy the Canal. Get out on the water and rent kayaks, SUPs, Pedal Boats or Canoes at Dow’s Lake Pavilion.

Go Camping. On June 21st, campsites re-opened in certain locations in Ontario and Quebec.

Discover Hidden Gems. Take a drive to Larose Forest (near Limoges) to hike around one of the largest man-made forests in Canada or visit the impressive ruins of St. Raphael’s (Glengarry).
